African Care has a variety of weekly groups for immigrant women. Learn more about the groups here.

Become a volunteer

African Care provides many opportunities to get involved in meaningful volunteering! In the Homework Club, volunteers offer support to immigrant women in their studies and Finnish language homework. In the women’s club, you can volunteer to help with cooking, sports or crafts. Our volunteers have also given presentations on relevant topics, such as the European Parliament elections. Join us for an internship or a work try-out

Looking for a place to gain working experience? African Care offers year-round opportunities for university students and participants on a work try-out to gain practical experience in the working life. At African Care, you will have the opportunity to work in various tasks in a multicultural atmosphere and gain a comprehensive insight into the organisational sector.
